He was awful to Serbia. Creating Kosovo and Vojvodina but not doing anything similar in Croatia or Bosnia. His extreme hatred of Serbs and repression of them was disgraceful. Serbia is still dealing with the legacy of his hatred.
I’m not 100% sure but I think he died in Slovenia where he was hospitalized for leg gangrene. He was buried in Belgrade.
